"She was my dream. She made me who I am, and holding her in my arms was more natural to me than my own heartbeat. I think about her all the time. Even now, when Iām sitting here, I think about her. There could never have been another."-

"- L.H (via wintergeluk)Everyday she asked me about my favourite colour. I never quite understood why she kept asking the same question over and over, day after day.
I always answered without any thought; it was blue. Blue had been my favourite colour for as long as I can remember. Blue is comfortable, blue feels safe.
Until one day I thought about what I had seen that day, what that day taught me, and what brought me joy. And my answer wasn’t blue.
After that my answer kept on changing to different colours, depending on what I had experienced that day. I started opening my eyes for other colours than just the comfortable blue, I began to see the world from a whole new perspective.
And now I know, she wasn’t just asking about my favourite colour. She was asking about how much I opened up to the world that day, if I grew, if I truly lived.
Before her I saw the world in only different shades of blue. She made me see the world in rainbow colours, I’ll always love her for that.
